Growing
up in North Carolina. I spent most of my
winters deer hunting and most of
the summers fishing the warm waters of the Atlantic.
Work brought
me to Mississippi and this only intensified my love of the
outdoors.
Mississippi
provided a hunting and fishing paradise with a wealth of
waterfowl, deer, wild hogs and turkey. It seemed the more
time I spent in the outdoors the more I enjoyed it.
The
Mississippi Delta provided an introduction to wing shooting
which became a great passion that remains to this day. Although
I am most often seen hunting with a rifle I am an avid bow
hunter as well.
Africa
has become a passion.
As a small boy every Saturday I
watched a local hunting and fishing show. The host was one of
the few people I had ever seen travel to Africa and hunt big
game. While watching this show I hoped one day I could
experience this for myself. My dream has become a
reality. Traveling to the Dark Continent every year Africa provides me with almost year
round hunting.
I began my
outdoor career making DVD's and
filming. It was only natural that I take my
love of big game hunting to the next level, television.
